Wind your way along the picturesque Shoalhaven River, the South Coast’s premier waterway. The Shoalhaven River is the first major river system South of Sydney and Wollongong. The Clyde River at Batemans Bay is 1 1/2 hours further south. The Hawkesbury River is North of Sydney.
Houseboats on Shoalhaven provide all you need to relax, unwind and enjoy a wide range of water sports. We have two houseboats. "Getaway" has three bedrooms and can accomodate up to 12 adults. "Escape" can accomodate up to 6 adults. You can view floor plans on our Layout page.
The Shoalhaven River is the perfect location for a holiday or just a short getaway. If you want lots of activity around you come in January or any weekend in summer. If you are looking for a quiet escape come midweek and you will have the river almost to yourself!
Houseboats on Shoalhaven operate from a private property 12 kms from Nowra CBD, approximately 2 1/2 hours drive from Sydney and Canberra, approx 1 hour from Wollongong, approx 1 1/2 hours from Batemans Bay. We are situated at the end of our road and have plenty of free parking.
Choose your own view, stop for a swim whenever you like, cook your catch of flathead or bream straight from the hook on the BBQ.
